I know I haven't been on here in such a long time. Life has been so crazy busy and we have been everywhere and enjoying every second of the summer sun. We have been to Lagoon too many times to count, we have been to Kamas, we have been to Bear Lake, Logan and the list goes on and on... Mark has been traveling alot lately, so the kids and I have been partying like crazy while he is out of town. ;) I am going to up some pictures of this whole summer... Not in order. Here is some news on the kiddos.. Stasia is so busy with all her little girlfriends she is playing like crazy and doing princess dress ups and she is in a dance class.. It is so cute! Her first recital is coming up I can't wait. She is now almost potty trained, and has given up her binkys to the "binky fairy" I can't believe she is turing 3 this month! It is crazy! Jonny, is just into everything he always has a skinned up head, he wrestles with his sister and misses her like crazy when she goes to her friends house. He loves her so much and they are just such good friends. I love it! He is still huge, almost passed her up on size. They are so fun and I enjoy every seconded with them!

...and this is why. My wonderful sweet loving husband was born today those many years ago! So happy birthday hun. We got to spend most of the day out together and had my mom come and watch our kids. It was so nice to get out and just wander and do random things because we could! So thanks mom for watching our kids. Anyway things have been pretty good, just busy as normal. Mark is done for the semester with school and he now has just ONE more year! Yay!!! Shortest schooling ever but sometimes it feels like the longest. Things with me and the kids are going well. Jonny is HUGE! He is a solid rock. He is only 2 inches shorter then Anastasia and 1/2 pound lighter. As you can imagine, I get asked all the time if they are twins. This happens almost every single day and every single store i go into. I am to the point i just tell people YES. I am so sick of saying no he is blah blah blah.. alot easier just to tell people yes they are twins and move on. hahaha anyway, that is pretty much it. We are excited for summer and to go to Lagoon once again and to soak up all the sun. I am also going to be helping out in June with our ward youth conference. I was called to be one of the cooks. So i am feeling a little overwhelmed since I have no idea what i am going to feed all those kids, but i am sure it will all work out. Here are some pictures of the kiddos and us from the past while.

That is pretty much it for us. Mark is busy with the Young Men and the kids love the neighborhood and all the fun people that have moved in. Anastasia has so many girls that are her same age. We love it here and so glad we got a chance to move into this house. We are excited for the summer and to see cousins we don't get to see very much! My little guy is 1 today! I can't believe it! Where has the time gone? I am so happy to have this little guy here and to have him in our family. Even though he is HUGE and giving major shoulder and back pain from holding him all the time. i still love him, I just hope he walks very soon so I can get my shoulder back and move my arm a little bit more then what i can move it right now. November has come and gone..

Well November is over and again I can't believe it! The time has gone too fast and I don't know how to make it slow down! In November we haven't taken too many pictures we have been busy but at the same time done nothing, Jonny finally has learned how to crawl this month and is getting mobile! YAY!! I am so excited and he is alot happier with himself also! We also had our Hirst family party where Santa came to visit us. That was alot of fun but this year Anastasia was scared of him and Jonny just didn't care.. I am sure next year it might be flipped the other way. Also this week have had some dear friends from Sweden come to visit. They are members that Mark got to know on his mission and then when we went back there about 2 1/2 years ago I got to meet them! They are a very sweet family and we are having fun spending time with them. Here are some pictures that I did take this month...

October Fun.

We have had a very long and very eventful month. The past week has been very fun. Anastasia turned 2 and it was so fun to celebrate her birthday today! I can't believe how fast time flew. Also this past week our dear sweet grandmother passed away. She had cancer and it finally took her life. We are so grateful that she is out of her pain and her misery and back home with her son that died when he was a baby and her other son that died when he was on his mission! It is very bitter sweet. We will miss her a lot and always have her in our minds and her wonderful example to live by! So anyway here a couple of pictures of what we have been up to this month! Hope everyone else is doing well and everything is going well for all of you!

I really can't believe that it is almost October. That means that Stasia will turn 2 and then about 2 months later Jonny will be 1. I can't believe it. That means this is longest i have gone in our whole marriage to not be pregnant! YAY!! Haha. That is really sad, but oh so wonderful at the same time. Mark pointed out to me that our anniversary marked our break even point. At three years, I had been pregnant for just as long as I had not been while we've been married. Wierd thought. Here are a couple of pictures from our labor day party at my brother mike's house and then just random pictures of the kids.

Well sadly to say it is August.. I can't believe that it is almost over! We have had a very eventful two months, Mark's sister came out from Ohio and has been here for a month and my little brother got home from his mission on August 3rd. I am very excited about that. It was so nice to see him again and to have the whole family back together again. He came home to 5.5 new nieces and nephews. 2 of them were mine, so it was fun to have him finally meet my two kids. Anyway we have been just running around having a great summer and can't believe that it is almost over.. which makes me kinda sad. O well now we have all the fun holidays to look forward to... here a few pics of our summer...

Well I haven't been able to update our blog lately because it took me all day just do to one small post. We had qwest internet and i 100% do not like them and the speed of there internet. So now we switched over to comcast, they finally decided to come in or development. So I am so glad that we have faster internet i was seriously going crazy. Anyway... Things have been very interesting around our house, We have been running around all summer so far. We have had so many things to do, and this weekend we have Mark's big bicycle race in Brigham city. So he has been training really hard for that and i sure hope he is ready to sit on that bike for 100 miles. SUCKER! hahaha.. I have beaten the dog a few times, he has been doing much better but we still a very strong love/hate relationship.Anastasia has been talking like crazy and loves to just beat up on her little brother. But she better watch out he is going to be bigger then her very soon.
We went in his 4 month and her 18 month check up about a month ago now.... here are the comparison... Jonathan 18 pounds Anastasia 24.5 pounds.. Jonathan height 23 inches Anastasia 32 inches.. Jonathan head circumference 28 cm... Anastasia 30 cm. All I can say is that i have HUGE BOY!!! He is so fun and so happy all the time. The only time he isn't happy is when he is hungry or really tired. When is hungry you better drop EVERYTHING and feed the little man or else there is heck to be paid... Mark and I are doing well... Mark is very busy with work he just got a couple more clients... Which is awesome right now with the economy.
We have season passes to Lagoon and so far we have gone every saturday and you would think that Anastasia would be scared to death of the rides, but she isn't we are usually there about 4 and 1/2 hours and she still gets really mad when we leave. She loves all the rides, it is really fun and I will get some pictures taken when i remember to take our camera!
Anyway.. that is pretty much catches you up. We are still here and alive just been running around like chickens with our heads cut off...

New Life

Well I finally have a moment to sit down at the computer and do a very much needed up date. A ton has happened with our lives since I have been on here last. Our house got done and we closed on it on March 10th. We blessed Jonathan on March 7th. We moved, in one whole weekend and then moved my brother the next weekend, one house away from us. Then the weekend after that we moved my parents into their house. We got a new car, mine was really small and just wasn't working out for us. Then we got some new couches and a new T.V. Our old couches has some pretty good holes in them and they were great but we couldn't pass up the whole RC Willey deal right now. It is easter today so Anastasia got a very nice present from her parents today. We got her a puppy, it is a blue heeler/pit bull mix. I found him on KSL yesterday and he was such a good deal. Very cute cuddly little thing, we named him Paz. So I think I pretty much have updated you guys on this whole past month. It has been very crazy with everything that has gone on but now it is starting to settle down and I am very glad for that. We have been very blessed this past month and we can't wait to just keep enjoying life and get into the hang of things again. Happy Easter. I hope things are going well for all of you as well.

Anastasia really loves to play in the snow. We went sledding and snowmobiling in Kamas last weekend and it was fun to play in the snow and to not be pregnant. I haven't been on a snowmobile for two years now and it was great to back on and ride.

Yesterday I tried to get Anastasia to hold Jonathan and take some cute pictures but she didn't cooperate very well. Someday I will get her to hold him and get some cute pictures.

Here is another picture of our house, we went up there on Saturday and there isn't much to see on the outside. It is all covered in plastic but o well, you can at least see what i saw. We will go up there sometime soon and by the end of this week they should have all the painting done on the inside and should almost have the whole outside done. So we will be closing on the house March 10th. We are getting more and more excited, but I am getting more overwhelmed with the whole packing and moving with two kids.

Today we went up and had our 4 way walk through to make sure that they have all the electrical and plumbing where it needs to be. I can't believe how fast it is going, at the end of the meeting our contractor said that he would probably have our house done in 30 days. We told them we were alright with not moving in until the first of April. I guess it is going alot faster then we planned. So here is another updated picture.

This is the best time of the day! I didn't realize how much time I really did have as down time. So when they are both sleeping it is wonderful to lay down all together and take naps. First I get Anastasia down for a nap that is why it looks like she was cuddling with someone and then I move on to Jonathan, and that is why he looks like he was cuddling with someone also. When I woke up I realized how funny and cute this picture is.

We didn't think that just having a baby two weeks ago was enough of a change, we thought we would add building a home to it also. So the past two weeks we have been just running around crazy trying to get things ordered and done for our house and then getting used to having Jonathan and Anastasia. Lets just say we have been really busy the past two weeks and are trying to catch our breath. Right now our house should be built and done by March, we are very excited to be in our house and to have things settle down after it is done.

Anastasia is such a big girl and loves to help any chance she gets!

He is finally here, we are very excited to have him here. He is such a joy in our life and we are enjoying every minute with him. Anastasia really loves him and just wants to be with him every minute and give him loves and kisses. She is very protective of him and if she can't see him or if he starts to cry she will cry also. Every once and a while our house is very loud with crying children. We are glad that everything went well and that he is here and healthy.

Yesterday we had a little family get together, it was alot of fun. We had a special visitor come to our family party. All of us got to tell Santa what we wanted for Christmas, Anastasia actually didn't cry when she sat her on his lap. I was very surprised that she didn't even care that he had her on his lap. This past week has been really crazy, we have had so many things to be to and alot of stuff to get ready for her birthday! We had a fun week though and we did take it easy on the days when we didn't have places to be. On Anastasia's birthday we had Mark's work party and then her own party to go to. So she got to just play almost all day long and was tired and ready to be done once the day was over. So on Halloween we just took it easy all day until about 6 and then went out and trick or treat with her. She loved it and just talked the whole time we were out and she got a TON of candy! She really scored big time, Thanks to our ward! So it was a fun week full of Halloween fun but I am sure glad it over and now we can get ready for Thanksgiving.

Our daughter knows which team is the right team to stick with! Even though they aren't the best right now, they are getting better. It is also better to stick with a team other then getting into the BYU or U of U stuff. Having a team that you can cheer for and won't feel threatened if you cheer for them is a good thing. So we have decided to stick with teaching our kids to say GO AGGIES!!

When Anastasia was starting to learn how to crawl we went through the whole house and thought we got it pretty much baby proof. Now that she is walking, the house will probably never be baby proof again! I have followed her and watch all the stuff that she knows how to get out and move things into those places that are safe for her to pull out. Well I am running out of places to put those things that she shouldn't be touching! So I have given up for the most part, and I am just constantly checking on her when it goes completely silent in the next room. Last night for example Mark and I were just in the kitchen cleaning up and we knew she was in the other room playing with her toys and all of a sudden it goes dead silent, so we hurry into the room to see what she is doing. She somehow found a fortune cookie, and got it open and was eating it! She still has no teeth so we don't know how she got the bag opened and how she broke the cookie into a pieces. Life never get dull with a child who knows how to walk!!! Here are some of the pictures that I took of all her messes that she has made.

Little Vacations

A lot has been going on these last couple of weekends, we have been traveling all over the place here in Utah at least. Labor day weekend we went up to Swiss days/Kamas and got some cool stuff and loved to go and see all the cool stuff. Then last weekend we went to St. George for a little family get away and for Mark's cousins wedding. It was a very busy weekend and I didn't get too many chances to take many pictures. So I have a few pictures that I did take, from Labor day weekend we went over to a friends house and got to ride some horses and Anastasia didn't want to get off, it was so fun and so cute to see her love the animals. Then I got some swimming pictures from the St. George trip.
Anastasia has also decided that she wants to walk full time, so she has many bumps on her head and legs from falling all the time. She has now started to walk everywhere and won't crawl that much anymore, it is so fun to have her do that and to watch her do it at such a young age. I still can't believe that in a month and a half she will be 1! It is so crazy how fast this time has gone. We are very excited to celebrate her birthday and to have it a Halloween themed birthday.

Mark and I are happy to announce that we are having another baby. Today we went and found out the sex of the baby and it is a BOY! SO here comes our little Jonathan, we are very excited and everything looks good. It is a big baby, they even moved my due date up a week! Which I am very excited about, now the due date is Jan. 17th. I know it will be very busy for the first couple of years but I am very excited to have another little friend for Anastasia.

Now it is my turn. Just over three years ago I met Julie while working as an intern at a firm where she was the secretary. She had a boyfriend, and I had a girlfriend. As we started to get to know each other we hung out and eventually both moved on from our previous relationship and started dating each other. While away at school we had a rocky relationship for a while. After we smoothed things out we decided to get married. We have now been married for two years. While we, as all couples do, have had our ups an downs, I am happy to say there have been many more ups than downs.

Two years ago I thought Julie was my best friend. I promised to love her no matter what. I promised to support her despite her mood swings, stubborn times and occasional blond moments. As I have worked to do this to the best of my ability, I have realized that Julie is much more than my friend. She is my match. My partner. My equal. After fifteen months of marriage Julie gave birth to Anastasia. I had another deepening of my understanding of what she meant to me. The sacrifices that she made for our family amazed me. I love her so much. This video describes even more what Julie, and now Anastasia mean to me. I am so grateful to a merciful Father in Heaven who has seen past my weaknesses to bless me so deeply. I am even more so forever in His debt for the blessings of the women in my life.

I can't believe it

Today is our Anniversary, It still just boggles my mind that we have been married for two years! It really just seams like yesterday that we were doing the whole wedding day stuff. Looking back on the two years, there has been a lot of ups and a lot of downs. Out of all those ups and downs I am still really glad and happy for where we are and what has changed in our life. I couldn't be happier with where I am today, Mark is my best friend and I would die without having him in my life. I am very grateful for all the crap he has put up with especially all my lovely mood swings. So thanks Mark for all the stuff you put up with and always sticking by me, I love you.

Our Very Eventful Vacation

This past weekend the Hirst family rented out a townhouse in Wolfcreek and we all were together. All 27 of us in one house. It started out as a very good vacation. It was an amazing place to stay. It had a home theater in it, rooms just full with bunk beds, amazing bathrooms, our very own hot tub on the patio and a game room. It was a pretty amazing place.

Come Friday night we were up with Anastasia in the middle of the night with her just screaming. She was thirsty so we made her a bottle and she would drink a little bit of it and then just scream some more. So we knew right away that she had a sore throat and probably needed to go to the doctor to make sure it wasn't anything serious. Saturday morning we drive back to SLC to her pediatrician and they checked her out and she had a rash all over her body and a very bad sore throat and just told us it was viral bug and it will go away in 2-3 days. So we went back up to wolfcreek and continued our vacation. Well, come Saturday night she still wasn't drinking or eating ANYTHING! So we called the on-call doctor and he said if she doesn't have a wet diaper by 7 in the morning you will probably need to take her to the ER to get an IV. All night we just used a syringe to put as much liquid as we could down her, but by 7 am she still had a dry diaper. So she had then gone 36 hours without anything to drink or eat and 12 hours without a wet diaper. To make this story short, we took her to back to SLC to primary childrens hospital to get an IV and we were there from 10-3. IT WAS A LONG DAY, it was very hard to sit there and hold down Anastasia while they put the IV in her.
After they were done with the IV they wanted her to drink some liquid before she could go home, and of course she still wouldn't drink anything. So we went with the option of leaving the IV in her (in case she didn't drink anything and we had to take her back for more fluids) and having it taken out the next day. Monday was a long day also. Waiting until our 3pm doctors appointment was not very fun because it hurt her to crawl and to do anything. So she was very fussy all day. Now she is all healthy and back to normal which is WONDERFUL!!!!

Fun day at the Zoo

This past weekend we went to the Zoo with Nicole, Daniel and Liz. Anastasia loved all the animals and watching all the kids run around. We also got to see the new baby Giraffe, he was two days old! It was so cute and so little. We had a lot of fun but by the time noon came around it was so HOT, we decided it was time to go home. I am glad we went right when it opened because it was the perfect temperature. When we were leaving there were no parking spaces and people were walking long distances to get to the zoo, just to see the new giraffe.

This past weekend we had quite the full weekend. On Friday Mark and I went to Lagoon and rode rides without our child. It was nice to get out and be alone for a while and just play. Then Friday night we went to my brother Mike's house to do the traditional Eaglewood fireworks. They always do such a great show and have amazing fireworks. When the fireworks started I wasn't sure how Anastasia was going to act with the loud noise. To our surprise the first one went off and then she started to laugh so everytime one went off she just giggled. It was very cute and entertained us all. I wasn't expecting her to act that way but I was glad she was laughing and not crying through the whole show. Then on Saturday we went up to Kaysville to watch the parade and then came home and we all took a long nap. So we didn't end up doing much on Saturday night because we were all tired and ready to just rest up. It was fun to be with family and friends.
All the kids got glow sticks for the fireworks and she thought it was really cool.

So today I needed to run and answer the phone and I went back into the family room thinking she was in there still playing with her toys. She was no where in site so I started to search the house and I found her here, in the bathroom pulling everything out! She just looked up at me and smiled and just finished what she was doing! She is pretty crazy but alot of fun! Lets just say my house is always a mess, no matter how many times I follow her and pick things up it is out in less then 30 seconds.

I was just thinking back on how fast time has really gone by with this daughter of mine! So I was going through all those cute pictures back when she was first born and how small and cuddly they are. Then just 8 months later they are crawling, standing, and trying to walk, pulling everything down from where you thought they couldn't reach. Finding them in places you didn't know how they got there in the first place, or how they are going to get out. It is has been so fun to watch her grow and interact with everyone and just learn so much. She is just learning so fast and I will be chasing her around the house in probably a month. I just can't believe how much time has passed. So when you do have children you really do need to enjoy the time you have when they will just sleep in your arms and go so many places and they don't even notice they have gone anywhere because they have slept through the whole thing. At the same time it is so fun to have them play at the park and just to get all the kids and keep up with them and interact with them. All stages with kids are really fun and make the most of every stage. That is pretty much what I have concluded with in my own mind.

I haven't been on here in such a long time! I have been very busy and just haven't had much time, and when I do have time, Anastasia is sleeping and I am playing catch up on laundry and dishes! So I decided that I will let my dishes stay in the sink right now and I will do them later.

Well over Memorial weekend we went up to Boise to visit my best friend, it was alot of fun and we did a lot of fun stuff. Surprisingly Anastasia was really good the whole entire car ride, she didn't cry once! It was very nice not to have her cry or complain. While we were there we went to Boise Zoo, Let me tell you it is LAME!!!! Sorry for those who love the Boise Zoo, but if you have been to Hogle Zoo then you would know where I am coming from. They don't even have Elephants, or bears, they just got giraffes for the first time like two months ago. Other then the lame zoo, it was fun to go and see my second family and to have a break from everyday life.

So that is the only trip that we have been on lately. Right now Anastasia has learned how to crawl and she is now standing up and trying to get her balance so that she can start walking. So we have been very busy with her right now and chasing her around the house and watching her pull things down and get into places that she isn't allowed! Even though this is a huge pain, I love to watch her be so happy because she can actually get around and do things for her self. It is so wonderful to just have her follow me and not just sit in the other room wishing she could come with me. So we have been very busy and I haven't had much time for anything at all. We are also in the process of baby proofing our house right now and making sure that everything she can get into is safe for her to get into. Even though we have done almost all the rooms she still manages to find something else that we have forgot. It is amazing what things they find.

My little Jumper

We borrowed the johnny jumper from my sister-in-law. It was the best thing I could do, she jumps so high and just loves to jump now. When you hold up on her feet to stand she just ends up jumping and it end up working out your arms. IT KILLS! haha so here is a little clip of her jumping, enjoy!

The other video was much longer and more interesting but this one will do. She now jumps forward and then lifts up her feet so that she ends up just swinging backwards. She thinks that she is so funny. Sorry for all the talking, I should've kept quiet so that you could hear her talk.

Kangaroo Zoo

This past weekend we had our once a month Hirst family party. We went up to Kangaroo Zoo in North Salt Lake. We played like crazy, even Anastasia had lots of fun watching and even going down all the slides.

Sick Baby = No FUN!

She got sick again!!! I am ready to have summer here so bad, so that I can be done with having a sick baby! So now she has been sick on and off for about a month and a half. She just got off medicine for an ear infection and then this past week she was so fussy, so I took her back to the doctors office for like the 10th billion time and she still had an ear infection and a really bad sore throat with white bumps all over her throat! So we are on another anti-biotic and this one just smells gross, it is awful to give it to her! We have had our hands full this past month and little sleep, so I can't wait until she is all better and we can get a restful night of sleep. We also celebrated Mark's birthday yesterday he is 25. It was alot of fun to get together with both of our parents up in Kamas. That is about all the new news that I have, but I will put up some pictures of Anastasia she got a sucker from the doctor. She loved it and just went to town, it was such a mess to clean her up but worth it!

She thought she was pretty cool holding her sucker with just her mouth and no hands! It was pretty funny to watch.

I still can't believe how time flies, she is now 6 months old!!! I still can't believe it, it really just boggles my mind!! We are still loving life and just having a blast!

Easter Parties

This past weekend for Easter we had alot of fun. Friday we had an Easter Egg hunt at my brother Mike's house. He does so many eggs and he has the best backyard in the world to do the hunt. I didn't get any pictures that day because we realized that my camera was out of battery! Then on Sunday we went out to Chandler's house to do dinner and another Easter egg hunt. They put out 100+ eggs for three kids all under the age of 3! hahaha! But it was still fun, even though Mark had pink eyes and Anastasia is still sick and sounds like she is coughing up a lung! Her voice is completely gone, it is very sad to listen to, so I hope she gets better soon! We had a very relaxing but fun Easter.

Two years ago....

Mark and I got engaged! Wow times does fly, I seriously can't believe how fast time goes! Well I will tell you how the story goes for this wonderful day. It was conference weekend and Mark and I went down to watch conference in the conference center, and as we approach the door to go inside they said there weren't any more available seats and we could go over to the tabernacle or just sit out on the lawn. So I looked at Mark and he looked a little nervous about this, I had noticed he was acting like this the whole day he had been a little off about stuff. I didn't think much of it because he had threaten me many times that he was going to play a mean April Fools joke on me. So we decided to go and sit on the lawn and listen to General Conference, once it was over we went and met up with Mark's cousin Michelle and she wanted to take pictures of the flowers around temple square and wanted us to go with her. Well the whole time we were walking around I was telling Mark that this is stupid and that she could take the pictures anytime she wanted and that I wanted to go home and just hang 0ut. Mark just ignored me and kept on walking, then Michelle said why don't you guys get your picture taken in front of the temple together so you can put it in your wedding video someday. So I agreed and we waited in line for a while and then finally it was our turn to get up and get our picture taken and then after she took the first one I went to walk off and leave and then Mark pulled me back up and I asked him kind of with an attitude, What are you doing? He said just one more picture. So I got back up and we did this weird pose and then I went to walk off again and then he pulled me back and got on one knee. I looked at him and said what are you doing GET UP! I was very frustrated, and then he started to ask me if I will marry him, and i just looked at him like he was joking or something and then he pulled out the ring and I believe him and said Yes. Meanwhile I didn't know that his brother and his best friend were recording it! So you can totally see how mean I was to him! But I honestly thought he was joking because it was April Fools!
So that is how the day went! It was a very frustrating day, but at the same time a very rewarding day in the end! I love him to death, looking back I had no idea I would be where I am today! I am very grateful for it!

Family Party

This past Saturday the Hirst family went to Hill Air Force Base Museum. It was fun to go and see all those cool planes and bombs. We had fun and it was such beautiful weather!!

Bowling

This past Saturday the Hirst Family got together to go bowling. It was a lot of fun and I was the one who walked away with the highest score out of the whole family! Dan almost beat me in the 10th frame by getting two strikes in a row which put him two points behind me, then he went to bowl again to win and he ended up only getting one pin down! So I won by one point, Dan said he did it on purpose but I don't believe that! Then after bowling Mark decided that I needed a night out and so he sent Nicole (sister-in-law), Leona (mother-in-law) and me out to see a movie. We went and saw Bride Wars, it was so funny and it was great to spend time with them! So thank you to Mark, Matt, and Skip for staying home with the kids so that we could go out and have a girls night! It was a lot of fun.

Our little fun Vacation...

This past week we went to Vegas/St. George with the Chandler Family. It was alot of fun, but along the way we had alot of things go wrong.. these pictures will explain all....

Well as you can guess from these pictures... we had a little accident. On the news I'm sure you heard all about that 22 car pile up. Well we weren't part of that accident but we were one of the many that went off the road, and a mile post poll got our car. It was so scary, my very first accident that I have been in. That happened on our drive to Vegas, so what a good way to start a trip don't you think? My poor car!!

Well other then having a fun accident, we did have alot of fun and tried not to worry about my car while we were on the trip. We just put some duct tape on it and called it good for the remainder of the trip.. Our first day in Vegas Josh, Kristi, Mark and I all went to the strip and left our kids with Grandma and Grandpa Chandler back at the condo. It was fun to go and run around like little teenagers again and not have to worry about our kids! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Chandler for watching our kids so that we could go out and relax and play! I will let the pictures explain what we did.

I have always wanted to pull the slots and see what it felt like... So of course my good example brother-in-law Josh encouraged me and even gave me the dollar to try it out, Thanks Josh... it was alot of fun. I lost the dollar and Mark lost, but don't worry Josh won ten dollars and Kristi won five dollars and 50 cents. I can see why people like to do that, but at the same time it gets really boring just to sit and push these buttons and then leaving with less money then what you came with... It didn't make sense to me, but it was fun and I enjoyed myself.

Then we went to the Coke and M&M Factory and tried all the different types of drinks from around the world. Some of them were really good, but some of them were really nasty!!

The Bellagio had really pretty flowers this time! They always amaze me when I go see them!

So then Saturday morning we got up and headed to meet up with the other half of the Chandler family in St. George.

So to end my story of why our trip was such an interesting one, Mark took Anastasia for a swim for her first time and also decided that his cell phone wanted to go too! Yes we are wearing the same exact outfit and even shoes.. We had to scan in my picture so it doesn't show the color as well as mine did. I took Anastasia's picture later then my mom took mine. I wish I would've taken her picture a little bit earlier so that it would be closer in age. I'll just put up some more cute pictures that I have taken of my sweet little girl! I can't believe how fast she has grown and how much time has past! She is getting really big and really wants to be mobile but can't figure out how to move her body. So I'm pretty sure she will get it figured out and soon.

Well I did it again... I went brown! My mom gets so mad whenever I change my hair color... but I LOVE IT! She hasn't seen it and didn't know I was doing it, so I'm a little nervous seeing her again! I can tell you word for word what she is going to say to me, "JULIE, I prayed so hard for a platinum blond, blue eyed girl and LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO IT!!" As she is doing circles around me looking at the damage that is done! hahaha

But anyway I will also put up this funny picture of Anastasia, she is into this new stage where she has to sit up as far as she can and hold it. So today we put her in her swing and this is what she did while she was sleeping...

It was so dang funny and so dang cute... she slept like that for about 30 minutes and then she was asleep enough that we could move her back. She is such a funny little girl! I can't believe how big she has gotten and how fast time has gone! She is already 3 months old!!! It is very exciting but at the same time I am SO SAD!!! But everyday gets more and more fun with her! I love her so stinkin much!

I know this is long past due.. but this holiday season has been very busy. We had a very fun and eventful Christmas and loved having a baby with us, even though she had no idea of what was going on. Fun Weekend

Well this past weekend we had the chance to bless Anastasia. We were also lucky to have Mark's two sisters fly in town and share it with us! We had a fun filled weekend. We did alot of fun things and got to spend alot of time with Kristi and Kimberly! It was so much fun to have them here and we look forward to seeing them again soon.

The first thing that we did on Saturday was go up to Portage to visit Mark's grandparents and had a huge family party up there. Then Sunday we had the blessing and then went and saw the lights on Temple Square. The lights sure are pretty this year. It was amazing to me that someone has the patience to put up all those lights!

This weekend was alot of fun and I am grateful for my cute little angel that was given to me. I am also grateful for my families that I have in my life! They are such good examples to me and always are so positive and willing to help anyone. I am really blessed and lucky to have such great families. The one thing that I am so grateful for is Mark, he has been so wonderful and great to me and I am really lucky to have him in my life!

I was sad to see Kristi and Kimberly go, but I can't wait to see them again soon! We love you guys and had a blast while you two were here!

Thanksgiving

Well I can't believe how fast the holidays have come again! It is wonderful, but man where does the time go? This Thanksgiving we went up to Kamas and spent it with the Hirst family. It was a lot of fun and it was so much fun to spend time with my family and just relax and hang out all day long... So i took a few pictures and thought i would share them.

I can't believe that Anastasia is now a month old yesterday! Time does fly, and i have loved every moment of having her in our home! She is such a good baby and she is always happy and never cries! Thanksgiving was alot of fun to have another person in our family, we are very grateful for every thing we have and I don't know if I could ask for more! I have been given so much and I'm very thankful for it!

Well we got some cute pictures taken, Jan(my sister-in-law) came up from St. George and paid us a visit and took some pictures of Anastasia. I'll put up some pictures that she took and then pretty soon we will have more to put up as she grows more.

I can't believe how fast time has gone since she was born. It still seems like I just had her yesterday, she is a wonderful baby. She never cries and just is a sweet and happy baby all the time. We are so grateful for her, and to be able to be given such a wonderful gift. The whole pain of having her and going through labor wasn't that fun, but I'm very glad it is over and she is here.

Fun day at Lagoon

This past weekend we went to Lagoon and had a blast! Even though I couldn't really ride the rides, it was still fun to go and walk around and watch Daniel and Liz have alot of fun on the rides. I did go on some rides to try and attempt to get this baby out, but don't worry it didn't work! Lagoon is fun at this time because of Frightmares and seeing all the cool decorations and having it alot cooler when you walk around.

These were last two nights we had with Nate, I can't believe how fast time has already gone since Nate left! He gets to leave the MTC on the 13th and go out to EL Savador. We are very excited and he is also! So far Nate has loved being out and learning and now he is VERY excited to be leaving the MTC and getting out to the real world!

My brothers just talked and talked and talked like they weren't going to see each other for a couple of years and they talked like they hadn't seen each other for a couple of years. It was so much fun, but at the same time I was so ready to go home and get to bed! Everytime I thought we were going to leave and go home my brothers would say okay lets go find Nate and they would move into another room and then talk for another hour. After that they would say again okay lets go, and you could probably guess what happend. They would go into another room together and just chat and chat! Even though I was very tired the next day, we had SO much fun just talking and talking! It was like old times when we were younger and would stay up all night talking to each other. I'm so very grateful for my brothers and my husband. I wouldn't be the same person without them! I love them all SO much! Even though being the only girl while growing up was very hard to be picked on all the time, I wouldn't change it. Families are wonderful!

I just thought i would post something about this AWESOME show! Mark and I have been loving this show! The new season just started and so we are hooked! I don't know how many of you have seen this show, but you should give it a try and if you hate it then fine.. and if you love it then GREAT! It is on Tuesday nights at 7 on fox. So that is a weird post i know, but i thought i would share our new obsession with everyone and see if any of you either love this show or haven't seen it, then give it a try!

Utah vs USU Game

For those who aren't fimiliar with Utah State Football, we aren't very good. So going to this game we knew we were going to lose, and we were okay with it. We still had a blast and LOVE logan. Mark and I went up with my two brothers, Jim and his wife and kids and Dan and his wife. Jim decided to get us tickets in the Ute Section so Mark and I were the only blue in a sea of red. It was actually fun to be the only aggie fans in this ute section because they knew we were going to lose and didn't have any problem with us sitting there and every once in a while cheer for the aggies. So i'll just post some of the pictures that we took at the game...

Logan wouldn't be the same without two of my best friends.. Malorie and of course Mark, Mal and I were roomies two years ago and she is still one of my best friends and so of course we had to be up there together to remember all the good times we had.. and who could forget Mark my true best friend, Logan wouldn't ever be the same without him. Some day Mark and I want to move to Logan and live there for a long time.. we don't know when that time will be, but we have it in our long term plans. As you can see in Mark's picture what i mean when were the only blue in a BIG sea of Red.

Kristi that picture of my belly is for you! I finally got one taken just for you and I told you that it isn't very big for being 7 1/2 months along!

Here is some one famous in the Ute crowd... If you don't know who she is, don't feel bad I didn't know either. This is Crazy Lady, you have no idea how crazy she really is. I guess she gets up and dances like crazy at every single basketball game and some of the football games and you have no idea how much the Ute fans cheer Crazy Lady. They almost cheer louder for Crazy lady then for the game that is going on, it is NUTS! If I had a video camera i would've recoreded her whole dance but all i had was my camera sorry. You'll have to go to a Ute game to experience the "Crazy Lady."

So that was our fun time up in Good old Logan, for any of you guys who haven't been in Logan before you need to go and just see how pretty it is up there. We love it and we had such a fun time up there with my two brothers and Mal. Some day Mark and I will get our dream long term goal of living up there!

We had some family pictures done before my little brother left for his mission. He is gone now but i thought i would put some of the fun pictures that show the true side of my family!
In my family, I have 6 brothers and then me! Yes i know that is a lot of brothers, but they have been the best brothers that anyone could ask for! They tease and poke and play too much sometimes, but that is what makes them so much fun. Poor Mark had to marry into a family with all boys..... but luckily he fits in great!

Update on our life to this point

Since Mark and I got married Last year on August 15, 2007. We have been very busy with life. I'll just give you the quick update. We were up in Logan last fall semester while Mark finished up school. He graduated in Civil Engineering. He Graduated the same day as his mom, but they went to two different schools!
Now Mark works for a engineering firm in Salt Lake called CRS Engineers. I work for a shoe store called Chandlers Walk Shoppe, we sell specialty shoes and of course the very nice shoes that you wouldn't get very cheap, for example Dansko,
Merrell, MBT, and Aetrex, etc... i could go on forever. So if you need wide shoes or narrow shoes or shoes with better support, just let me know!

I went back to school spring 07 to Salt Lake Community College and worked on getting my Interpreters Licence for American Sign Language. No i haven't finished school, but I am going to be a full time mom come November 1, 2008. We are going to have a little girl and we are going to name her Anastasia.

So before this huge life changing thing is about to happen we decided to go on a couple trips this summer. In May we went to Philadelphia/New York to visit family. It was alot of fun and we loved every minute of it! We saw so much that i have always wanted to see!

Then in June we went to Sweden/London for two weeks! Mark served his mission in Sweden, and I went to London to live with a family back in 2005 so i wanted to go back and show Mark what I had seen when i was there! Mark had an amazing mission. The people there were the nicest people that you could ever ask for to have on your mission! It was so fun to see and met all those people that call him and e-mail him. If you ever get a chance to go to Europe you need to see Sweden and of course London! They are the most amazing places with the most amazing histories, it is hard to tell you about all of it! But all i have to say is that it was amazing and we had alot of fun. I wouldn't ever do again while being pregnant but i would do it any other time! Trust me it isn't very fun it slows you down! hahaha!

We still have a full 3 months ahead of us before Anastasia comes! We are loving life and couldn't be more happy where we are at! We are very grateful for everything we have!

I've always thought that married people were so mature. That they always knew exactly what to do, and what was going on in life. But now that many of my friends have taken the dive, and I am on the edge of the cliff, I realize this isn't so. I see more now that there is no one step that all of a sudden, makes you understand everything, but more little things that make up some of those big realizations. One of these big realizations came to me as I dated Julie this past year at school. I realized that more than getting married and knowing just what to do, I was on the verge of a great adventure, most likely the greatest adventure I'd ever be on. This was the begining of something beautiful. Something that I could live with and grow with forever. Many of my strengths were her weaknesses, and almost all of my weaknesses are her strengths. I know now that I know very little, and that is okay. This is where the journey begins.
